Matthew 28:6 (KJV)
He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
No grave could hold Him down.
Not the stone. Not the seal. Not the soldiers.
The Bible tells us that death tried to silence Jesus—but power spoke louder.
If the grave couldn’t hold Jesus,
what makes you think your past can hold you?
If death can’t keep Him,
depression can’t keep you.
Failure can’t keep you.
Fear can’t keep you.
Sin can’t keep you bound.
Because when you belong to Him,
you carry resurrection power on the inside.
“And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He… will also give life to your mortal bodies.” — Romans 8:11
You are not meant to stay buried in what broke you.
You are not called to live stuck in what tried to destroy you.
You are a child of God—
and children of God rise.
So let the enemy know:
The stone has already been rolled away.
The grave lost its grip.
And I’m coming out of everything that tried to bury me.
💥 Declaration:
No grave can hold His body down—
and no situation can hold me down either.
Heavenly Father,
I come before You today with gratitude and boldness,
because the same power that raised Jesus from the grave is alive in me.
Lord, Your Word in Romans 8:11 reminds me
that I am not bound, I am not defeated, and I am not forgotten.
So today, I lay down every grave that has tried to hold me—
every fear, every doubt, every failure, every burden.
I refuse to stay buried in what You have already given me victory over.
Father, just as the stone was rolled away,
roll away every obstacle in my life.
Break every chain that tries to keep me stuck.
Silence every lie that tells me I cannot rise.
Remind me that I am Your child—
chosen, called, and covered.
Give me the strength to walk in resurrection power,
to rise above what tried to destroy me,
and to live in the freedom You died to give me.
Today, I declare:
No grave can hold me down.
No situation can defeat me.
No darkness can overcome the light You placed inside of me.
I rise in faith.
I rise in power.
I rise in You.
In the mighty name of Jesus,
Amen. 🙌
