“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” — Romans 8:37
Storms have a way of making us question our strength.
They shake what feels secure. They test what we believe. They expose our fears.
But here’s the truth: the storm did not come to destroy you — it came to reveal what God placed inside of you.
There were nights you cried and didn’t understand.
Moments you felt overwhelmed.
Days you wondered if you would make it through.
Yet here you are.
Still praying.
Still believing.
Still standing.
That is not weakness — that is victory in progress.
Romans 8:37 does not say we avoid storms. It says “in all these things” — in the pressure, in the hardship, in the uncertainty — we are more than conquerors.
A conqueror wins the battle.
But “more than” a conqueror means the battle strengthens you. It builds your faith. It deepens your trust. It proves that God’s love sustains you.
The storm didn’t break you.
It refined you.
And if God carried you through it, He is faithful to carry you into what’s next.
Lord, thank You that I am not defeated by what I face.
Even when I feel weak, remind me that I am more than a conqueror through You.
Strengthen my faith in every storm.
Help me trust that what tried to shake me is actually shaping me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏽
